TCW were instructed by Fay Cannings, the Town Centre Lead - North, Economic Growth & Housing Delivery Directorate, London Borough of Waltham Forest - to collaborate with Julian Von Loxton at Elbow Creative on a hoarding project in Chingford Mount. The aim was to help bring a dull grey hoarding to life, add some colour and drive conversation within the local community.

Once we had fully surveyed the site & produced a full artwork template, a bright and eye-catching layout was designed that included the names, faces and business names of many of the local businesses, helping boost the local high street in Chingford Mount.

At TCW’s dedicated large format production site in Wrotham we printed the Dibond panels on the Canon Arizona press before sealing the panels with Anti Graffiti Laminate. Any panels requiring cutting were then trimmed on out Zund digital cutting/routing machine.

The Chingford Mount site is a particularly busy area on weekdays, so we elected to carry out the 2 day installation over the weekend, minimising disruption to the surrounding pavement areas.

We have received great feedback from both Elbow Creative and Fay, the local community have also fed back that the project has added a great talking point for the local business.

We look forward to working with both parties and exceeding expectations again.

From Elbow Creative:-

"Gary and his team have been a pleasure to work with. Helpful, friend and professional as you would expect.

What stood out though is TCW's approach; a problem isn’t a problem with a no quibble approach focused on taking hassles off the client or certainly easing them. They helped me with an issue and just got on with it.

This is a rare quality with suppliers and there is no doubt that the next project that requires expertise such as TCW's will be my first port of call."

From Fay Cannings:-

"More award-winning local action ~ this time in Chingford Mount London Borough of Waltham Forest.

Over 30 small businesses have been promoted on the hoardings here at Old Church Lane, showing the local variety & vibrancy.

Speaking to businesses yesterday they are already feeling the love & additional awareness from the campaign!

A pleasure to work with you again on another project & thanks for the installation."
